In Haithem's Memory

انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

عائلة العوادي والخطيب والبزاز ينعون فقيدهم الشهيد السيد هيثم طاهر العوادي رحمة الله على روحه الطاهره

Haithem is yet another family loss from violence directed towards innocent Iraqi people, from people who have sided with Evil. His sole is residing peacefully in heaven, while his family’s grief has just began. What kind of humans are capable of these acts? By killing some of the best young men and women Iraq has produced, they’re killing all of Iraq and it’s future.

Haithem passed away on July 30, 2009, but he’s very much alive in our hearts and in our memory.

He was born on the 25th of October, 1980. Graduated as a Civil Engineer in 2004. He was working for the Kadhemia municipality as on-site engineer, and was heading to the office when a bomb planted in a trash can exploded around 9 AM, near Aden Square. He was rushed to the hospital, but did not make it. One child also perished in the explosion and 5 others had serious injuries.

The news clip on the right says:

At least seven people were injured when a bomb, planted on the side of the road, exploded this morning (Thursday), north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, according to an official in the Interior Ministry. The official said that the explosion occurred around 9:00 AM local time, near a mosque called "Nawab" in the Kadhemia district.
